Integration Engineering messaging processes over ten million documents per month that our hundreds of trading partners and internal application customers count on us to deliver. To accomplish this we leverage the latest technologies such as XML, AS2 and BizTalk Server along with tried and true technologies such as EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and VAN (Value Added Network).
Integration Engineering enterprise data integration exposes critical business data through a publish/subscribe model, ensuring data integrity and radically reducing complexity.
Integration Engineering plays a lead role in the management of SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) for Microsoft IT, exposing data via services and providing core infrastructure to enable evolution towards true service orientation. We leverage several Microsoft Technologies including SQL Server, BizTalk Server, Enterprise Service Bus, Windows Azure Services, Microsoft Operations Manager and custom .NET applications to provide Microsoft Business Units with a robust and reliable way to support mission critical transactions.
The Integration Engineering team works closely with the BizTalk and Logic App product team to make Microsoft product/services offerings are enterprise ready. The Integration Engineering team works diligently to design, build and maintain user empowerment, operational and testing tools to facilitate the team’s workload and reduce costs. Regardless of the transport, format, or business process, if it relates to electronic commerce, Integration Engineering is the team that will get it done.
The Integration Engineering provides the technical expertise and project management required for building and supporting the enterprise messaging infrastructure (backend). The Integration Engineering team is responsible for all standard on-boarding for new or modified feeds; standard refers to infrastructure that currently exists within the Integration Engineering. The Integration Engineering team designs, builds and delivers new tools to support our customers and our internal Integration Engineering teams.The Integration Engineering follows the MSIT SDLC (Software Delivery Life Cycle) and the Integration Engineering team acts as SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) on this methodology. The Integration Engineering team owns all translator (BizTalk, Gentran) migrations for the infrastructure which occur nearly year-round. The person hired in this position will be responsible for management, development and maintenance in all areas of the existing messaging infrastructure. The person hired in this position must gain a solid understanding of the existing and new technologies used or to be used in the gateway; he/she must be able to identify and articulate issues to cross-team resources and gain resolution on these issues while delivering high quality, timely solutions. The person hired in this position will also be responsible for finding resources, interviewing and managing vendor teams both external to Microsoft and personnel working onsite in Microsoft.
•Determines customers' needs and desires through various mechanisms like customer connect, telemetry, competitive analysis, etc.
•Determines nature and scope of present and future; appraising new product ideas and incubate for future roadmap - Backlog Grooming
•Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
•Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product roadmap
•Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production.
•Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders.
•Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
•Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

1.Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field or 6-8 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience required.
2.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
3.A demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems in a multi-tiered system environment is required.
4.Able to visualize and translate the business process into technical model or technical model to business process would be added advantage.
5.Must have the ability and self-confidence to make strategic and tactical decisions with minimal or no supervision.
6.Work and collaborate well with multiple groups across Corp. Services Engg.
7.Experience in Integration Domain, Logic Apps and Azure technologies.
8.Experience with SQL Server or other enterprise scale databases preferred.
9.Strong interpersonal skills.
